Scope of the Position
This role involves managing CRDD’s financial, procurement, administrative, and human resource procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing multi-level processes and transactions
- Detail-oriented monitoring and follow-ups
- Prioritizing tasks under pressure
- Proactive problem-solving
- The Senior Finance & Administration Officer will handle tasks such as financial record-keeping, preparing reports, maintaining the QuickBooks system, procurement, and human resources management.
A. Specific Duties
Finance Tasks
- Develop and implement financial and administrative procedures
- Prepare quarterly budget forecasts
- Monitor and implement procurement procedures
- Submit timely financial reports
- Support donor-specific financial reporting
- Conduct monthly and annual account reconciliations
- Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary information
Administrative and Human Resource Tasks
- Monitor staff timesheets and salary allocations
- Draft and manage contracts for staff and contractors
- Oversee travel arrangements and visitor protocols
- Maintain administrative support for operations
B. Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in finance, administration, or a related field
- At least 6 years’ experience in accounting and donor-funded project management
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
